oh baby boy!

So we just got back from the Dr. and I can hardly wait to post this. We are having a little boy in January! Most likely we'll name him Will but I guess there's still a lot of time to discuss all of that. Everything looked great and Lizzie was way excited to now have both a baby sister and a baby brother! Oh so much to do now if anybody knows a great place to get cute boy clothes I could sure use some good guidance. Anyhow hooooooray!

Sorry I'd post a pic so all can see but I think we'll keep his privacy for now.

When the Cat's away.....

Andrea cuts her hair! Ok so I know many of you when you describe me say something to the effect of : short, petite build (at least i hope so) and long dark hair. Well maybe you can add something new to the description because i've donated 12 inches of my hair to locks of love. Jeremy has been away on business and i just got sick of my long hair and decided to change it. Funny story though as my friend was chopping my hair and we were having a lovely discussion about everything when all the sudden things started to get really hot and then everything started to turn black. I asked my friend to get a chair by the last thing i remember is her reaching for a chair next thing i know i had had a lovely nap and my feet were tingling. Lizzie was yelling at me and my friend was patting my forhead and fanning me with a book. I just started laughing realizing i had passed out and probably looked ridiculous. anyhow we had a good laugh and finished the haircut. i still feel kind of woozie but i should be better. anyhow i haven't had a chance to style it yet but i love the length. so anyhow try to think of other ways to describe me other than long dark hair..... holy heck i can't believe how long i let my hair get. 12" baby
my hair hasn't been this length since i was an infant!
like i said let me get a chance on how to style this and for sure it'll be even cuter. even still i like it tons

Miller Motor Sports Park

We had a great little day today at Miller Motor Sports Park! Got a little car shopping in....And got to watch a lot of noisy cars. I guess the best part was looking at all the amazing cars and wondering how many lotteries those people had to win to be able to afford such cars!
Here's Jer's new commuter car. There's another guy at work that drives a lotus so jer had to have one!
Now this is the engine...try really hard to imagine what the rest of the car looks like..give up well it looks like this
Our only question is how to get the car seats in. I'm thinking if we cram really hard we can get 3 car seats in. The best part is wherever we're going we'll get there fast!!!

Techno Colored Lizzie

So as a pregnant mom with two other children there are moments when i get you know tired. It happens to all pregnant women we just get tired and sometimes the only thing you can do is sleep. Well when you have other kids there isn't much hope for getting any rest unless you are very clever or at least think you're clever. Today I needed a rest and had what i thought was a pretty good plan, after I put Abby down for her nap I figured I would give Lizzie her "NEW" markers and some paper and let her color in my room while I dozed for a bit. Lizzie has always been really good with her art supplies and I stressed to her the fact that she was not to color on: the walls, furniture, her hands, her arms or her face. She was easily contented with this and proceeded to color as I drifted in to fairy land. I was awoken by a phone call from my mother and Lizzie scampered off out of my room. When I finished the call with my mom and went to find little Lizzie I don't think I really could have been prepared for what I saw. She was wearing one of her favorite dresses and I noticed that her knees where not the usually color of white and pink that knees should be, instead it looked more like a Christmas ornament in the colors of red and green. Lizzie then showed me how she wanted to do "Tai Chi" honestly I have no idea how this constitutes to that but still, she slowly pulled up the skirt of her dress to reveal that the red and green knees was just the start, at first I thought of raw Chicken legs for she had colored them red, pink and purple and had gone up to her swimsuit line and had quite thoroughly covered her entire thighs. I was at that moment in parenthood where you didn't know whether to laugh, yell or just put your head under a pillow. The artwork continued onto her feet where she had quite decoratively put some sort of markings on her foot and colored her toenails for good measure, I'm sure it was to tie all the colors in together. I had seen children with similar markings, markings that didn't come off for what seemed like weeks. I knew using bleach was out of the question and the steel scrubbers for pots seemed just a bit harsh so I thought I would try the old soap and water technique. Fortunately it seemed to work as I amazingly watched the clear water turn to a rather pretty rose color, which Lizzie commented looked like "Rose Beef". Honestly as a parent it's amazing how you can experience so many emotions in such a short amount of time. I guess the best one is how we can laugh at it later, I guess if you're lucky enough to get it on tape you can win some money from America's Funniest Videos or something. But for now the laughter pays pretty well.

chicken, or whatever i guess it still looks funny

i think this is really where "Tai Chi" came in it's reflective I guess

The toes really do tie it all together

this is pink water, the picutre has not been docotored in any way, thank goodness the good majority came off. The markers have been taken away all though no spoken law was broken. Maybe we'll wait till she gets a bit older.

Frisbee Winners

in the distance you can see jeremy pacing the field sorry crummy shot
abby tried for 30 minutes to get the medal around her neck she's so cute
wow a medal, a t-shirt, two cute kids and a great wife to support him, this guy must be a winner

Jeremy played in corporate games this past week and had a blast playing ultimate frisbee although feeling his age a little bit more than what he used to. L-3 won crazy like over the competition and not to brag or anything but Jeremy did have 4 of the points in the championship game. Anyhow we had fun watching although it wasn't the same as sitting on the sidelines at the quad. The exciting part is he got a gold medal and although he's been a part of many, many, many championship teams he actually got his first t-shirt. ( by my count he should have at least 9 from playing up at USU, oh well less laundry for me to do.) anyhow way to go jeremy you totally rock!

Camping at Pete's Hole

We went camping over the weekend of the 24th and had a blast revisiting my favorite fishing hole. Camping has changed a lot since I was a little girl. We had 4 Wheelers, Waverunners, and the comfort of the trailer (with a microwave which i wanted to use so desperatley but would have totally drained the battery) but the good news is that the mountains are still just as lovely and as peaceful as ever and those feelings of awe and wonder that nature gives us will never change. We all had such a good time and really didn't want to leave. Lizzie was an amazing fisherwoman (it runs in the blood) and caught 4 fish while everyone caught.....a big fat nothing! Jeremy had tons of fun riding his bike around the mountains and took on the adventure of biking 10 miles downhill! We had tons of fun waverunning even though pregnant Andrea so shouldn't have gone out because lets be honest you can't just go gently on a waverunner....... well at least I got it out of my system. Abby enjoyed getting nice and dirty and really learned how to manipulate those around her to take her for walks (Thanks to all of her uncles and Granparents for being so easily manipulated!). I've got to tell you she has a talent. Anyhow it was lots and lots of fun and we really want to go again. Anyhow enjoy the show!
